Fizzyfaith fonts with links to animated UK clocks!
Tests based on computers' fonts and fancy fonts!

If fonts look like the standard Courier New font
it usually means they aren't installed on the PC.
Some websites limit the use of fonts to just a few:
Times New Roman, Arial, Courier New or Courier.
Some Internet set top boxes may also restrict the
displays which depend on each font being named
exactly and being available on each computer...

The computer Settings Menu and the Control Panel
allow new fonts to be installed and it helps to
see previews of fonts beforehand and this page
features the typewriter/keyboard format to help
assess how best to use standard and fancy fonts.

Which ones offer the best presentation such that
every character can be seen in normal text and
normal text plus italics, then in bold text and
in both bold and italics? Further tests will
show whether the underline feature makes text
difficult to read or not. That's crucial, right?

All computer fonts installed are listed in WORDPAD
or on a Wordprocessor package eg Ability or Word.
Wordprocessors let you modify the normal style,
save it, then choose it with a shortcut command.
Extra fancy fonts are on PC magazine cover disks
and CD-ROMs or downloaded from fonts websites.

Compare fonts for style, capitals, numbers.
Check character spacing/line spacing, too.
